My name is Weiwei, and I have lived in Beijing, the capital of China, for many years. Before I moved to Beijing, I have lived in Yantai, a beautiful coastal city which is famous for its apples in China, for about twenty years. My Chinese nickname is 敲代码的王二, ‘敲代码’ means coding which is my current profession and ‘王二’ is a character’s name written in Xiaobo Wang’s books.

I read about 30 books each year in recent years, so I will share the book reviews on this site. But most of the reviews are written in Chinese. See here

I have traveled to many places in China and other countries. I prefer the independent tour than the group tour, each time I go out, I will spend much time reading travel guides. In my blog, I will write some China travel guides which will make China tour much easier for foreigners.

Lately, it shocked me that some media are not neutral about mainland China. They bend the truth about China to make foreign people not to see the real China. My mission is to write about my country, and my experiences and life in China in order to help others gain a deeper understanding of my country. I hope I can get you to see the cultural diversity of it.
